Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Scrimma is a practice-planning tool for sports coaches. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Scrimma, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to coaches who sign in and use the app directly — Scrimma is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, the players or athletes a coach manages.

Signing in with Google

Scrimma uses Google Sign-In to create and access your account. When you sign in, we request only your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — the basic profile scopes needed to identify you and get in touch about your account. We do not request, and cannot access, your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google service or data beyond that basic profile information.

Authentication is processed on our behalf by Supabase, Inc., our backend and auth provider. In plain terms: Google authenticates you, and Supabase stores the resulting account record — your name, email, avatar, and an internal account ID — so Scrimma can recognize you the next time you sign in. Supabase's own privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Other information we store

Once you're signed in, Scrimma stores the content you create in the app, including:

We use a session cookie, set by Supabase, to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics that profile individual users.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Scrimma:

Teammates on your team can see content you mark as shared with the team (for example, team drills and the team schedule). We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties, and we never sell it.

Revoking access

You can disconnect Scrimma from your Google account at any time in two ways:

Doing either one on its own doesn't automatically do the other — for a clean break, do both.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email us at the address below and we'll process the request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Security

We rely on our providers' security controls, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Scrimma is intended for use by coaches and other adults organizing team activities, not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
